EAS/Masters Foundation Course
The Queensland International Business Academy conducts 3 special EAS courses each year for international students enrolled in programs such as: Master of Business Administration, Master of International Business, Master of Management and Master of Business Administration in Hotel & Tourism Management programs at the Tweed Gold Coast campus of Southern Cross University.
This EAS/Masters Foundation Course is 15 weeks full-time and includes 1 Core Unit from the Masters Program (MNG00720: Foundations of Management), as well as Computer research skills and English for Academic Study.
Entry requirements are: IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL 525, a Bachelor degree and one year professional work experience.
Completion of the 15 week-EAS/Masters Foundation course gives guaranteed entry into the Southern Cross University Graduate College of Management Masters Degree programs with advanced standing.
Students are issued with a student visa for a packaged course under combined QIBA and Southern Cross University Confirmation of Enrolment (COE).
QIBA EAS/Masters Foundation courses are offered three times per year.

Each of these 15-week EAS/Masters Foundation courses links up with starting dates for the Graduate College of Management Trimesters. The students complete one 15-week program at QIBA and then transfer to Southern Cross Tweed Campus for completion of a further 11 MBA, MIB, MMgt or MBA-HTM Units over three trimesters.
The SCU Tweed campus is within walking distance of QIBA (10 minutes). This means that students can stay in their Gold Coast accommodation for the whole of the QIBA EAS/Masters Foundation as well as the SCU Graduate College of Management program.
Students need to complete two application forms to enrol in this program. These are:
- Standard QIBA enrolment form (15 weeks EAS/Masters Foundation $4,650 + $200 Registration fee + $400 Course materials). This price includes the MBA Unit MN720: Foundations of Management, which will be credited towards the MBA, MIB, MMgt and MBA-HTM programs.
Proof of English Language (equivalent to TOEFL 525 or IELTS 5.5) must be included with the application. - Southern Cross Postgraduate Application for Admission.
Proof of Tertiary Study and Work-experience must be included with the application.
