CERTIFICATE IV IN BUSINESS

The Certificate IV in Business qualification provides domestic and international learners with practical business skills and applications for a wide range of industries, while at the same time preparing learners for the rigours of academic study and research.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Academic: Completion of Australian Year 11 or equivalent or relevant industry               experience                                                                                                                  English language proficiency: IELTS 5.5 or equivalence (minimum 5.0 in each macro skill)                                                                                                                      Numeracy and Literacy Skill: Equivalent to Year 11

COURSE STRUCTURE:

The Certificate IV course content is delivered face-to-face, in small group tutorials, by qualified and experienced staff. Participants develop current competencies in all subject areas, reaching standards identified by the Business Services Industry Training Advisory Body. The course consists of ten subjects (plus additional workshops) drawn from the following content areas and studied over an 18 week period.

The course content is especially selected to help with the integration of language development and research-based learning in preparation for Diploma and Bachelor Degree studies.
